The Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission has announced race-date changes for Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park and Summerside Raceway.
In regard to the CDP, the commission has announced that the race card that was scheduled to get underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 has been cancelled (the 1 p.m. race card only). Additionally, the commission has allowed Red Shores to change the first-race post time for the evening card on Saturday, September 12 to 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.
Also in regard to the CDP, the commission has allowed Red Shores to add a live race card on the afternoon of Saturday, September 19 (first-race post time will be 1 p.m.). There is also an evening card scheduled for Saturday, September 19, and first-race post time has been pushed back from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In terms of Summerside Raceway, the race date that was scheduled for Sunday, July 26 has been cancelled. The track has added a race date on Wednesday, July 29 (first-race post time is 6 p.m.).
