Horseman Saverio Villante, 62, of Freehold, NJ, passed away on March 28.
He retired from training Standardbreds in 2000.
He was a past member of the USTA, Standardbred Owners Association of New Jersey, and Standardbred Owners Association of New York.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, Millstone, N.J., (adoptahorse.org).
