The election of officers for the New Brunswick Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association was held during a meeting this past weekend.

New Brunswick harness racing will now be overseen by one united association, made up by horse people from all areas of the province.

Sam Hodgin was elected President this past Saturday at the group's annual general meeting. Ed Harvey will fill the role of Vice President. Moncton will be represented by Jeff Lewis, who will have a dual role of Secretary/Treasurer.

Robyn Dickison will be the association's Privacy Officer. Other members making up the Association will be Clayton McCoombs, Andre Moeller and Karen McGrath.

It was also announced that the N.B.S.B.O.A will launch a website in the very near future. Racing in New Brunswick is slated to return later this spring in Saint John.
