The New Brunswick Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association has revived one of the province's most well-known and sought after stakes events, the Barrieau McIssac Stake.
For 2017, the stake will be offered as an Open Late Closer for three-year-olds foaled in Atlantic Canada. It will be raced as a two-heat event on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Exhibition Park Raceway.
All owners of horses participating in the program must be a current member of the New Brunswick Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association.
