Organizers with the annual Chase McEachern Memorial Golf Tournament have released details regarding the 2016 installment, which will mark the tenth edition of the charitable endeavour.

This year’s tournament will be held on Sunday, June 5 at Angus Glen, located in Markham, Ont.

Tee-off time will be 7:45 a.m., and it will be a four-person, best-ball format.

The cost is $200 per golfer, who will then receive a $50 tax receipt.

Golfers will enjoy a barbecue lunch and access to the driving range, in addition to golf and a cart.

Funds raised for the tournament go toward the purchase of AEDs for not-for-profit organizations.

John McEachern, who is the father of the late Chase, has said that if anyone knows of a not for profit organization that is in need of an AED, head to rescue7.net and fill out the form. McEachern has also said that he can be contacted at [email protected] and that he can provide a 10 per cent discount off of a ‘HeartSine 500P AED.’

“It has been 10 years since Chase has passed, and in his memory and my way to say ‘thanks’ to the horsemen for all of their help in the last 10 years,” McEachern has said.
