Only one betting favourite was victorious on Monday (March 12) at Pompano Park, and a string of upsets to begin the card resulted in a $6,224 Pick 5 carryover into Tuesday night.
Track officials, in conjunction with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, have placed an ‘instant guarantee’ of $40,000 on the total pool for Tuesday night. The 50-cent Pick 5 will begin in Race 1.
The Tuesday card will also offer a single-night Pick 6 carryover of $759. Also, the Jackpot Hi-Five, which will be offered in the nightcap, has ballooned to over $22,000.
Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park four nights per week, with a first post of 7:20 p.m. every Sunday through Wednesday.
