Claude Fuller Passes

Horseman Claude H. Fuller of Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, February 14 at the age of 83.

Fuller was a breeder, owner, trainer and driver of Standardbred racehorses that raced primarily at Batavia Downs and Buffalo Raceway.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia McNichol Fuller; daughters, Connie Fuller and Lori Adamczyk (Paul); sons, R. Glenn Fuller (Deb) and Charles H. Fuller (Mary); sisters, Betty Ann Robinson and Loweda Mcnew; grandchildren, Kortney Couch, Kisha Birchfield, Sarah, Jacob and Maxwell Adamczyk; and great-grandchildren, Dawson Bates-Caiben Couch, Jacob and Bailey Birchfield.

Fuller was preceded in death by his parents, D.E. Fuller and Shirley Fuller; brothers, JD Collins, Rayford and Billy Fuller.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday (February 18) from the W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Killian and Bro. Danny Moses will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17.
