Because the mission of the Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) is unique, it is providing full care for 198 Standardbreds, 125 unattractive to adopters due to age or injury.
Finding homes and following up for life is the goal for every horse, but many need life in pasture due to chronic or acute injuries, or are old campaigners that have served well and need a dignified retirement.
