Trot Insider has learned that the New Year’s Eve programs of live racing that had been scheduled for Northlands Park in Edmonton, Alberta and Fraser Downs in Surrey, British Columbia have been cancelled.
The Fraser cancellation has come due to unfit track conditions.
Fraser's next program of live Standardbred racing is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 1, 2018. To view the entries, click here.
The Northlands cancellation has come due to the extremely cold weather conditions that have gripped the nation from border to border over the past week.

Please note that the Charlottetown Driving Park, Flamboro Downs, Rideau Carleton Raceway, The Raceway at Western Fair District are still going forward with their respective cards of live racing for Sunday, December 31. Truro Raceway has already completed its Sunday card.
