EquiLottery and AmTote have announced a newly-formed strategic relationship that will make AmTote the preferred tote provider for EquiLottery moving forward.

Via release, EquiLottery and AmTote announced that the agreement gives lottery companies and vendors a fully-ready implementer to allow seamless integration into racetrack pools essential to the EquiLottery gameplay structure.

“We believe games like EquiLottery, that incorporate horse racing into people’s existing routines, are the future for the sport we all care so deeply about,” said AmTote President Steve Keech. “AmTote has evaluated the feasibility and potential of this innovative product and is proud to stand with EquiLottery moving forward. We are excited about the opportunity to work with domestic and international lotteries in the months and years to come.”

A leader in wagering systems with global reach, AmTote will provide multiple services under this agreement, including Lottery and Totalisator Systems Integration (LATSI), pooling assistance, and ongoing technical support without cost to EquiLottery’s lottery partners. Additionally, it was announced that the partnership gives lottery vendors a consistent partner dedicated to the development of long-term lottery and totalisator integration solutions.

“We are thrilled to be working with an industry leader like AmTote,” said EquiLottery President & CEO Brad Cummings. “This partnership ushers in the next phase of our rollout strategy and really illustrates the kind of traction we have received since our launch earlier this year. Having a dedicated tote provider is a key part of our mission to bring this innovative new product to both the lottery and horse racing industries.”

The agreement will also allow racetracks and state lotteries to participate in EquiLottery regardless of local tote provider agreements. AmTote will provide tote-to-tote communications as part of their LATSI services.
