Ralph Leasure Passes

Ralph E. Leasure, 91, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 12 at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Woodsfield, Ohio.

Leasure was born in Centerville, Pa., on July 24, 1923, a son of the late Ralph S. and Maude Miller Leasure.

Ralph was a retired machinist at the former Ormet Corp., Hannibal, Ohio; a member of the First United Methodist Church, Woodsfield, Ohio; a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II; a member of Monroe Lodge #189, F & A.M.; a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Cambridge, Ohio; and a member of the U.S. Trotting Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Leasure; five sisters, Dorothy Stants, Ruth Leasure, Jessie Hauger, Marjorie Dillon and Mary Florence; one brother, J.R. Leasure.

Surviving are his wife, Evelene Miller Leasure of the home; three sons: Richard L. (Tammy) Leasure of Beallsville, Ohio; Thomas (Michelle) Leasure of Washington, Pa.; Dennis R. Leasure of Florida; one daughter, Diana M. (George) Bourne of Woodsfield, Ohio; one step-daughter, Helen V. Harrell of Bridgeville, Pa.; one sister, Helen (Tom) Kessler of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or service. Following cremation, inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio. Arrangements by Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.
