Chapter Seven To Stand In New York

Southwind Farms' syndicate manager Mike Klau has confirmed with Trot Insider that the a deal has been completed for Chapter Seven to stand in New York for the 2013 breeding season.

Chapter Seven will stand at Blue Chip Farms for an initial stud fee of $8,500.

The four-year-old son of Windsongs Legacy has assembled a strong seasonal record of seven wins and a pair of second-place finishes from nine starts, good for over $923,000 in earnings. The career winner of over $1.85-million in purses lowered his mark to 1:50.1 in the Nat Ray at the Meadowlands Racetrack this past summer, and is fresh off a strong October 27 victory in the $591,240 Breeders Crown Trot at Woodbine Racetrack.

From 27 career starts, Chapter Seven has notched 19 wins, four seconds and a third-place effort, missing the board on just three occasions. Chapter Seven is trained by Linda Toscano for owners Richard Gutnick, Southwind Farm and J And T Silva Stables LLC.

Klau told Trot Insider that Chapter Seven is scheduled to race in the upcoming American National at Balmoral Park and will then be brought to Southwind to begin fertility testing.
