The votes are in and the overall winner of this year’s Zoom Contest which featured five monthly themes and winners has been determined!
Congratulations to Cassidy Schneider of Arthur, Ont., who has been voted the 2017 Zoom Champion! Cassidy’s winning shot was a selfie with her eight-year-old gelding Reb The Raider. Schneider won the September Zoom challenge with her selfie shot which landed her the spot in the finals.
The photo was taken September 9 at her family farm as they were loading up to race at Hanover Raceway where Reb won his race!
Whenever Cassidy gets a chance, she is always helping out around the farm and at the racetrack. “I do everything from cleaning to jogging to warming up the horses at the track and paddocking.”
Cassidy attends Wellington District High School and when she’s not working with the horses she enjoys playing hockey, lacrosse and soccer. Schneider has won $50 gift card to The Raceway at The Western Fair District and a framed enlargement of her winning photo!
