Officials at Kawartha Downs would like to remind all horsepeople that nominations for three awards are being accepted until Saturday, December 19.

Nominations are now being accepted in the race office for the following categories:

• Horseperson of the Year
• Female Caretaker of the Year
• Male Caretaker of the Year

The top three nominees in each category will be voted on at the 2009 Awards Banquet on Saturday, February 6, 2010.
