Western Ideal Brother Returns To Stud

It has been announced that a full brother to Western Ideal will be standing the 2016 breeding season.

The Green Acquisition Corporation of Canfield, Ohio has announced that Western Hero p,5,1:51.3 ($182,309) will be standing for stallion duties in 2016 at Cool Winds Farm in Lima, Ohio.

Western Hero raced from 1996 to 1999 and made 32 career starts. The bay won 12 of his starts and notched four second-place finishes and five thirds. Western Hero was retired with $182,309 in purses and a mark of 1:51.3 taken at the Meadowlands Racetrack. He last bred in 2011 after standing the early part of the 2000's in the mid-west U.S.
