Trot Insider has learned long-time Ontario Racing Commission Judge Robert Minler of Ingersoll, ON passed away Tuesday, October 6 at VON Sakura House in Woodstock, ON following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 73.
The son of the late Clair and Marg Minler, Bob is survived by his wife, very best friend, and golfing partner, Pat (Carter) of 53 years. Treasured Dad of two children, Sheri and her husband Dan Grabatin, Jeff and his wife Lori Minler. Adored Grandpa and Pop of two grandchildren Hannah Minler and Jeremy Grabatin. Brother of Janet Budden, Joan Smith and her husband Jim. Brother-in-law of Roy Carter, Bob and Sharon Carter, Carol Carter. Uncle to several nieces and nephews.
