If you could have lunch with anyone in Canadian harness racing, who would that be? Is there a favourite driver you would like to sit down and break bread with or maybe it’s an owner or trainer...or maybe it’s your favourite track announcer, handicapper or a writer?
The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club wants to make that happen! Grab your pens and pencils, (or your laptops or smartphones) because it’s quick and easy to enter for a chance to win!
For our October contest, we’re looking for Fan Club members to submit a short paragraph on why this individual is their favourite racing personality and why they want to meet him /her. Your favourite may be a Track Announcer, Hall of Famer, an O’Brien Award winner, your favourite racing writer, one of the Fan Club’s Faces of Racing or a person that drives your favourite horse.
Send in a short paragraph of no more than 250 words to tell us who you want to meet and why!
A panel will select the best entry and the Fan Club Team will arrange lunch, photos and a morning or afternoon with your favourite person in harness racing! The winner will be responsible for transportation to the lunch, so please keep that in mind when submitting your entries. Your favourite racing personality must be based in Canada.
