Arazi was a wire-to-wire winner in Monday’s 10th race at Woodbine Racetrack, and his 2-1 closing odds played a big part in yet another carryover for the Jackpot Hi 5 wager.
The Nick Gallucci-trained pacer [#2] defeated Jimmy Be Good (26-1), Record Store (47-1), Mystic Ice (33-1) and El Torero (21-1) in the finale. The winning combination of 2-7-10-1-9 returned $23,220.30 for $1-based wager.
With multiple winning combinations sold on Monday evening, a carryover of $446,461.17 will be added to Thursday evening’s final race at Woodbine Racetrack.
