In 2017, Winbak Farm will be welcoming Delmarvalous, p, 2, 1:52.3f; 3, 1:48.2 ($899,123), to the Winbak Farm of Delaware lineup.

The son of Badlands Hanover had a lucrative career that included wins at two in the Arden Downs Stakes and two Delaware Breeders finals. Early in the season, he finished second to two-year-old colt pacer of the year Sportswriter in both his Metro Pace and Nassagaweya eliminations. He was voted Delaware’s two-year-old pacing colt of the year.

At three, Delmarvalous came back strong and had wins in the Adios final, Matron elimination and established his mark of 1:48.2 while winning the Oliver Wendell Holmes. He also finished second in the Matron final (to horse of the year Rock N Roll Heaven) and Progress Pace final.

Delmarvalous retired and still remains the fastest horse sired by Badlands Hanover.

From just two limited crops of racing age in Pennsylvania, Delmarvalous is already the sire of 2016 PA Stallion Series Winner, Hes Marvalous, p, 2, 1:52f ($129,162), 2016 PA Fair Final Winner, Gemalous, p, 2, 1:59.2f -'16 ($32,298), & 2016 PA Stallion Series Winner, She’s So Marvelous, p, 2, 1:55.2f -'16 ($28,450).

“Winbak Farm is excited to have Delmarvalous standing in our Delaware lineup,” said Garrett Bell, Winbak Farm’s general manager.

His 2017 Stud Fee will be $3,000.
