Marion Dawe Hawman Passes

Marion Ruth Dawe Hawman, wife of former Ontario Racing Commission judge Paul Hawman, passed away on October 2, 2011 at the age of 57

. Marion was residing in South Carolina at the time of her passing.

Survivors include her husband, Paul, whom she married July 21, 2001; two brothers, Tom Dawe (Sherry) of Elkhart Lake, Wis., and Jim Dawe (Marsha) of Johnston City; two sisters, Judy Drake (Mark) of Benton and Brenda Kissinger (Steve) of Johnston City.

Marion had many nieces and nephews who dearly loved her for her kindness and passion for life and her wonderful sense of humor. They include nephews, Scott Kissinger, Kevin Drake and Tom Dawe; nieces, Kim Boaz, Dawn Kissinger, Sherry Dawe and Marlys Morales; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Gelean Spangler; brother, Bob Evrard; and nephew, Steven Kissinger.

A celebration of Marion's life will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at the clubhouse in the Alston Plantation, Pawleys Island, S.C.
