Ivan had a heart of gold and would make sure his horses ate before he did. He worked for Mike and looked after Barons Boy among others but that was his favourite.
Ivan was a proud and caring caretaker very good at his job. He was also a family friend and for many years looked after our house and animals and all he ever wanted in return was stuffed mushrooms from Costco.
I will miss our post office chats which usually meant I lectured him on looking after himself.
Peace my friend,
The Guitard Family
