The Race Track Industry Program is pleased to announce Keeneland Association’s sponsorship of this year’s Innovators’ Circle, which will take place on Wednesday, December 9 at the Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming.

Innovators' Circle is racing’s first-pitch competition designed to stimulate innovation in the horse racing industry. The competition’s final round, presented as a symposium session open to all attendees, consists of the entrepreneurs’ pitch to the panel of judges. The pitch will be followed by a Q&A session during which the judges have the opportunity to challenge the entrants with a series of questions. The winning participant/team will earn a cash prize of $10,000.

“Keeneland is sponsoring the Innovators’ Circle as part of our total commitment to horse racing,” said Keeneland President and CEO Bill Thomason. “We understand that for our sport to be competitive, we must come up with new ideas to retain our customer base and create new fans.”

“The RTIP is thrilled to have Keeneland as a sponsor of the Innovators’ Circle,” said RTIP Director Doug Reed. “This iconic company has been at the forefront of embracing new ideas to provide a great racing product and enrich the on track experience.”

The contest website is innovateracing.com.

The 42nd annual Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming will be held at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, in Tucson, Arizona, from December 7-9, 2015.
