On Monday, the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association announced that three more horses have tested positive for EVH at The Meadows.
The races at The Meadows have been cancelled for Saturday, February 3, Monday, February 5 and Tuesday, February 6.
Earlier this week, the races for Monday, January 29, Tuesday, January 30, and Wednesday, January 31 at The Meadows were cancelled. The cancellations came after the Bureau of Animal Health put barns 5, 19 and 23 under quarantine, along with the previously quarantined barns 6 and 21.
On Tuesday, January 30, Dr. Heather Palm will meet with horsemen in the Meadows Paddock lounge to address concerns and answer questions.
