Another showdown is ready to take place Saturday, January 25 at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park.
First-race post time for the 13-dash program will be 1 p.m.
Cambest Kisser, who ended Pinner’s winning streak last week, will square off in the $2,000 feature (Race 12) on the afternoon card. Jason Hughes will be driving Cambest Kisser, while Pinner will have the services of Brodie MacPhee since Marc Campbell has booked off all his drives.
Panacotta, a major player in wearing down the leader in his last start, drew the rail for trainer Blaine Baglole. Mark Bradley has gotten the call to drive this week. Miracle Matts will start from Post 2 for Corey MacPherson. PC Shockwave (to be driven by Brian MacPhee) and Nobestbfor (Walter Cheverie) will complete the star-studded line-up.
Wonderous Hanover is the morning line favourite in the afternoon trot class. Michael McGuigan will handle the five-year-old mare from Post 6. Delta Dental (Ron Gass) and JK Queen (Walter Cheverie) are also top-three candidates.
