In support of retired racehorses, how much would you pay for the signed colours of some of harness racing's top drivers?
Alina MacLeod, program co-ordinator for Greener Pastures, British Columbia's standardbred horse adoption society, has informed Trot Insider that the organization will be holding online auctions to support of the province's equine pensioners.
"Last spring one of our fabulous supporters organized for us to receive signed drivers' colours from back east," MacLeod explained.
"We will be holding several online auctions with these colours to help us raise funds to re-train and 're-home' retired standardbred racehorses."
