Longtime horseman Jacques Beausoleil of Berthierville, Que. passed away on Thursday, January 16 at the age of 72.
Beausoleil dedicated his life to his sport and his passion, harness racing.
He is survived by his wife Jocelyne Lévesque; sons Eric Beausoleil and Carl Beausoleil (Christine Pominville); grandson Ryan Beausoleil; brothers, sisters and in-laws Denise Beausoleil, André Beausoleil, Claude Beausoleil, Kim Beausoleil, Nicole Lévesque, Johanne Lévesque (Yves Asselin), Gilles Lévesque (Lucie Daigneault); and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place Saturday, January 25 from 9 a.m. at the funeral complex F. Thériault Inc., 741, Notre Dame, Berthierville followed by a mass at the chapel at 11 a.m.
