For the third week in a row, Wholly Louy scored a wire-to-wire victory in Saturday's $20,000 Preferred Pace on a sloppy track at Woodstock Raceway.

With Brad Forward at the reins, the four-year-old son of Camluck left from post six and led the field through fractions of :28.3, :57.1, and 1:26.4 en route to a one length victory in 1:55.4.

The post time favourite, Junior K (Robert Shepherd) was second best, while Mattarocket (Donald Gillis, Jr.) rounded out the top three.

Wholly Louy picked up his sixth win of the year in eight starts for trainer Casie Coleman and owner Robert Hamather of Exeter, ON. The bay gelding expanded his bankroll to $54,750 for the year.
