A 'good' track rated two seconds off produced slow times during the eight-race qualifying session this morning at Mohawk Racetrack. Four-year-old Artsplace gelding Last Call Hanover produced the quickest time, a 1:56.4 clocking.

Rick Zeron was at Last Call Hanover's lines for trainer Rob Fellows. The 'Z-Man' worked out a two-hole trip behind Moonlight Jazz and driver Dave Boughton, who cut the fractions in :28.3, :58.3 and 1:28.2.

Propelling home via a :28.1 final panel, Last Call Hanover would go on to post a three quarter-length victory.

Four of the eight races this morning were won in times slower than two minutes.
