The names of only eight horses were dropped in the box for Sunday's OSS Gold series for freshmen pacing colts at Rideau Carleton Raceway, meaning all eight will skip this week's scheduled eliminations and go straight to the Gold Final on Sept. 30.
The race will have a purse of $234,313 and will be drawn late Sunday afternoon.
