The Mildred Williams Driving Series is going into its 12th event on Friday night at Grand River Raceway in Elora, Ontario as it kicks off a big weekend with four events over three days.
The women will be driving $4,500 claiming pacers in the first race of Grand River's Powder Puff night. There is a double header on Saturday with a matinee card at Woodstock and an evening card in Hanover. The final Mildred Williams event this weekend is at Clinton Raceway on Sunday.
The final of the Mildred Williams 2008 Series will be held at Harrah's Chester, Dover Downs and Rosecroft Raceway on November 5th, 6th and 7th.
Ann Karin Larsen holds an 11 point lead over Anne Marie Turenne in the standings, followed by Kelly Case in third. The 10 top women in the standings are listed below.
