Lola Van Zonneveld, whose son-in-law, John Campbell, is racing's winningest driver, passed away September 27, 2008 in New Jersey after a brief illness. She was 77.
Ms. Van Zonneveld was an avid race fan and volunteer at the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, co-founded by her daughter, Paula Campbell.
In addition to the Campbells, she is survived by two daughters, Sheree and Debbie; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
