On Friday and Saturday, Woodbine Racetrack will be hosting eliminations for the major 'Fall Four' stakes for two-year-olds, which includes the Goldsmith Maid and Three Diamonds for fillies and the Governor's Cup and Valley Victory for open competitors.
The Friday program will feature three Goldsmith Maid elims for trotting lasses, carded as Races 2, 4 and 7. The card will also feature a pair of Three Diamonds elims for female pacers, which will go as Races 6 and 9.
The final for the Goldsmith Maid is estimated to be worth $653,000, while the rich Three Diamonds is estimated at $660,000.
The Saturday program will feature three Governor's Cup elims for the open pacers, which are programmed as Races 2, 4 and 7. The card will also feature a pair of Valley Victory elims for the open trotters, carded as Races 3 and 5.
The purses for the Governor's Cup and Valley Victory finals are estimated at $732,000 and $660,000, respectively.
The four finals will be contested Saturday, October 25 at Woodbine.
