Trainer/driver Kelly Hoerdt was Sunday afternoon's (September 4) win leader at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino, with a training triple among his four victories during the 10-race card.

Hoerdt earned his first win of the day in race four as the Alberta newcomer, three-year-old filly Lissoy ($28.70), pulled off the upset defeating a pair of popular freshmen, Lil Bit O Jingle and Wedding Dance, by a neck in 1:57.3.

The four-year-old mare, Thats Extra ($4.30), brought Hoerdt right back to the winner's circle after winning the following race by a quarter-length over Fire Dance in 1:56. The victory was her second in a row.

ASHA Filly Stakes runner-up Lucky Lucka ($5.40) later closed out the card for the Hoerdt stable by prevailing over older foes in 1:57.3 by three-quarters of a length.

Hoerdt, who shares ownership of his winning trainees, currently ranks fifth in the 2016 trainer standings at Century Downs with his stable accumulating 24 victories this year.

The Beaumont, Alta. horseman also drove 10-year-old gelding Hilldrop Shady ($9.50) to a 1:58.2 victory in the afternoon's sixth race for trainer/leasee Ken Read.
