Although this is his first time competing in the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship, Brad Lichty is no stranger to this competition
. Brad’s wife Corrine Lichty competed in the Championship in 2007 and in 2008, now it’s Brad’s turn to step up to the plate!
Hailing from Elmira, Ont., Brad is a long-time fan of harness racing who regularly frequents both Grand River and Georgian Downs, the site of this year’s Championship.
Lichty hopes to finish in the money this year, a feat that eluded his two-time participating partner in crime Corrine. Only time will tell how this wagering wizard will fare against competitors from across the country.
