Galagher Seelster earned a new life mark of 1:54 in winning Saturday night's sixth race at Kawartha Downs with veteran Jerry Robinson back at the lines.

The three-year-old son of Mister Big ventured to Mohawk for the first time earlier this week, his only start away from Kawartha, and finished fourth with Sylvain Filion driving.

He had Robinson, who has driven him in every other start this year, back in the sulky tonight and the pair clicked for owner/trainer Charlie Peake of Campbellford, Ont. Galagher Seelster now has six wins in nine lifetime starts.

Top drivers Reg Gassien and Tony Kerwood each enjoyed a driving double on the card.

Racing returns to Kawartha Downs next Saturday night with a 7 p.m. post time.
