Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action will heat up again this weekend when the two-year-old pacing colts meet for competition on Saturday afternoon at Northside Downs.
The North Sydney racetrack will play host to two 'A' divisions for the pacing colts. Each division will go for a purse of $9,280. There will also be a lone 'B' division going for $2,500.
This will be the final ATSS event for the two-year-old pacing colts prior to the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships. Truro Raceway will host the premier harness racing event this year. The Weekend Festival of Racing will take place October 8, 9 and 10 and will include the ATSS championships and consolations, as well as invitational races and the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Select Yearling Sale.
