Novascotia Hanover unleashed a powerful uncovered move that carried her to victory in Tuesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Novascotia Hanover shot out for the early lead for Ronnie Wrenn, Jr., but after some quarter-pole shuffling, found herself third. When she came first over down the backside, she wore down the leader, Certified Ideal, and defeated her by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:52.3. Phone Terror rallied for show.

Ryan Angus trains Novascotia Hanover, a four-year-old daughter of Somebeachsomewhere-Northern Sky who now has banked $455,111 in her career, for F Bellino & Sons LLC.

Dave Palone drove six winners and Eric Ledford three on the 15-race card.
