On Saturday, August 30, Lakeshore Horse Racing Association GM and Treasurer Wayne Martinuik and Marty Adler, announcer for the LHRA’s races at Leamington Raceway, discussed the upcoming 13-date meet at the Leamington Fairgrounds, which is scheduled to kick off Sunday, September 7.
The one-hour ‘Experts On Call’ segment was part of the ‘Live and Local’ show on CKLW AM 800.
Adler kicked off the segment by discussing the adverse effect the cancellation of the Slots at Racetracks Program had on the local and provincial economy.
