Three-year-old pacing filly Reys N A Rocket padded her resume with another stakes win on Sunday (August 6), taking the $6,225 Manitoba Great Western Fair Stakes at Killarney.

Owned and trained by Richard & Janet Rey and driven by Michel Rey, the homebred Mattarocket-Allamerican Orchid filly advanced from the backfield approaching the half and won her third straight stakes event by two lengths in 2:06.1 over the 'good' track. Tami Blue (Clayton Braybrook) finished second and Cash Or Cheque (Roland Rey) inherited third with original show finisher Quarter To Noon (Don Howlett) placed back to seventh for causing interference.

Undefeated in stakes action, Reys N A Rocket won the Kindergarten Stakes as a freshman and has reeled off consecutive wins in Lady Crocus and Silk Lace divisions prior to the Manitoba Great Western Fair Stakes.

In regular racing action, Full Moon Dodger was a repeat winner in the $2,500 Preferred Handicap Pace after circling a field of four. The six-year-old Brandons Cowboy-Domestic Bliss gelding won by two lengths in 2:02.1 with Don Howlett driving for trainer Trevor Williams and owner Michael Williams.
