False Advertising earned his third consecutive Open victory on the Manitoba Great Western Harness Racing Circuit on Sunday afternoon at Miami.
In similar fashion to his winning effort last weekend at Morris, False Advertising went from last to first and began to draw away from the field of five in Sunday's $2,100 Open Handicap. Red Star Tiger began to cut into his leading margin down the stretch this time, but False Advertising remained one length clear on top to score the win in 2:01.2. Hale Street finished third.
Cory Manning drove the five-year-old McArdle gelding, who earned his fifth win in seven Manitoba starts for trainer/owner Betty Manning.
Racing will resume next weekend (September 5 and 6) at Miami. Post time is 1:30 p.m.
