Boknows Momngranny dominated the top class at Northside Downs while 17-year-old trainer Brett Leblanc celebrated his first career win during the Saturday afternoon card of harrness racing.

Driven by Greg Sparling for John and Thomas Hawco of Sydney, N.S., Boknows Momngranny romped to a 1:56.1 victory in the featured $1,100 Winners Over with J N J and Putnams Power completing the top three finishers over six lengths behind. The victory was the seven-year-old Bo Knows Jate gelding's second in five starts since beginning his Nova Scotia campaign in July.

Leblanc celebrated his milestone win when four-year-old Shake Up drew away from the third race field of pacers by seven and a half lengths and stopped the clock in 2:01 with Ryan Campbell aboard. Touchette and Shes Got Appeal finished second and third, respectively. The N Xample pacer was making just his third start under the care of the New Waterford, N.S. conditioner, who also shares ownership with Robyn Leblanc.
