The Big Bite, with Walter Cheverie catch-driving, pulled off an upset to win the Friday night feature event at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The time of the mile was 1:57.3. Forever Paradise (Gilles Barrieau) found racing room late to finish second while Waterside Light (Kenny Arsenault) completed the triactor. The 2-5-1 combination paid $449.25. The Big Bite is owned by Jack Arsenault, Donna McIver, Edward Blaisdell and Deborah Wilson. Thane Arsenault is the trainer.

Incredibility nosed out Kims PJ to win the opening trot class on the card in 2:04.1 for driver Marc Campbell, trainer Earl Watts and owners Wade Peconi and Windemere Farm, while Frill Seeker and Kenny Arsenault landed on the line first to take the second trot division in 2:01.4. Arsenault did the driving for Ebbsfleet Stables.

Arsenault, Campbell, Cheverie and Corey MacPherson recorded driving doubles.
