ATSS Two-Year-Olds To Saint John

The two-year-old pacing performers in the Atlantic Sires Stakes racing series will take centre stage at Exhibition Park Raceway on Tuesday, August 31. This will be the first Atlantic Sires Stakes event of the season at the Saint John, New Brunswick racetrack

Three 'A' divisions of pacing colts will go for a purse pool of $8,180 each and a lone 'B' division will go for $2,500. Meanwhile, the fillies will also go in three 'A' divisions for $6,900 each and three 'B' divisions will go for $2,500.

Post time at EPR on Tuesday is 4:00 p.m.

Atlantic Sires Stakes action will return to the Saint John oval on Saturday, September 4, when the three-year-old pacing colts meet for competition. The harness racing action will be a highlight of the Atlantic National Exhibition Week activities in Saint John and will be one of the final opportunities for participants to earn points for entry into the Atlantic Breeders Crown.

This year’s season-ending ABC championship weekend will be hosted by Truro Raceway October 8 - 10 and will feature the ATSS championships and consolations, as well as invitational races and the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Select Yearling Sale.
