Minnesota-sired action continued on Tuesday, July 26 at Running Aces.

The son of Voracious Hanover is owned by Richard Davelaar and is trained by David Flynn. DeweyDidDoneGood paid $2.20 to win as the public’s post-time choice.

In the $9,000 Minnesota-sired filly pace, WhatitdoBabyBoo strutted her stuff once again, as she posted her second win in her last three starts. She paced to a new life’s mark of 1:59.3 for driver Steve Wiseman, trainer David Flynn and The Van Otterloo Stables.

Track record holder Silver Spir found his way back to the ‘Aces’ winner’s circle again on Tuesday, as he posted a sharp gate-to-wire win in a conditioned event in 1:55.2. Steve Wiseman had another big night, as he picked up a ‘grand slam’ on the card with four wins. Dean Magee posted a driving double in the ($4.80) early double.

One of the most impressive performances on the card was put in by Sgt Papa Daddy, a two-year-old gelding by Rockin Image that was making his pari-mutuel debut for owner/trainer Merlin Van Otterloo and driver Steve Wiseman. The bay made the lead by the half and paced off to a seven-length win in 1:55.2 while racing as the post-time choice.

The $5,000 Guaranteed late Pick Four paid $515.20 for every 50-cent ticket with multiple winners connecting in the sequence of 6-2-2-4 with 39-1, 3-1, 3-5 and 6-1 odds.
The Jackpot Pick Six was also hit, with a single winner cashing $1,525.50 for their 50-cent combination.

The next card of live racing at Running Aces will face the gate on Wednesday (July 27). The first race scheduled to head to post at 6:00 p.m. (CDT).
