Global live entertainment leader Live Nation has submitted an application to the City of Toronto that outlines a proposal for Champions Greenwood, which is located at the premises of the former Greenwood Raceway, to undergo and alteration that would see a live event venue to be introduced to the eastern Toronto OTB location.
According to a story by Good Hood, the application calls for two thirds of the existing teletheatre to be renovated and an addition to be brought to the second floor of the current structure.
The article states that the live venue would be able to host up to 150 live performances a year, and that the facility would be able to hold 2,700 people once it is completed.
