A compact group of six faced the gate in Wednesday’s $10,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred #2 feature at Grand River Raceway , with Jinglejanglejingle taking home weekly bragging rights following her 1:54.4 decision

.

Driver Jason Brewer wasted no time hustling Jinglejanglejingle to the lead from her post six perch, and after laying down panels of :27, :56.2 and 1:25.4 the Richard Moreau-trained miss used a :29-second kicker to finish off the competition. Michelles Idea, who sat a pocket trip throughout the mile, was just a quarter of a length in arrears. Third prize went to Signal, who was only beaten by one half of a length.

Sean Hibbert of Corbyville, ON holds the ownership papers on the five-year-old daughter of Four Starzzz Shark-Village Jangle, who improved this year’s record to 9-6-5 from just 23 trips to the track. The 16-time winner has potted close to $190,000 in career earnings.
