Rush Rules Romps In Sudbury

Al Hohner rallied from off the pace to bring his charge, Rush Rules, to the winner’s circle in the $11,000 Not Listed Preferred Saturday at Sudbury Downs

.

The five-year-old Scooter Scott-SF Cavalier gelding got away fourth and was shuffled to last through fractions of 29.1, 59.3, and 1:28.2, then rallied from the back to win by a neck in 1:58.

Rush Rules, who won for the third time in nine tries this season, is owned by Robert Truman of Harbor Springs, MI and trained by Rick Shakes.

Saturday's card also featured four divisions in the second leg of the Baby To Boomer Series, with wins going to Kritzer Hanover (1:59.4), Doc Beatz Em All (2:01.3), Ramember (2:02.2) and Auditorial (2:00.4).
