Mohegan Sun Pocono announced last month that its president / general manager, Mike Bean, was leaving the company in order to pursue another opportunity after roughly a decade with the organization. It was reported late last week that the Mohegan Sun has found Bean’s replacement, and that he will be taking over within the next 60 days.

An article by The Citizen’s Voice states that Tony Carlucci, who has more than 30 years of experience in the casino / hospitality business, will take over the leadership and direction of the Pennsylvania facility.

The article explains that Carlucci’s appointment is still pending licencing and regulatory approvals.

The Citizen’s Voice article has cited a company memo to staff from Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority COO Tom Burke as saying that “Having known and worked with Tony, I can assure you that he is a believer that an organization can have engaged team members, great guest service and increased financial performance. It is possible to achieve all three of these goals.”
