The top two finishers, based on points, from the Ontario Regional will go on to compete in the National Driving Championship on August 26 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park.

The evening kicks off with a Meet & Greet & Photo session in the lobby area. From 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. you can chat with your favourite drivers, take photos or have your photo taken with one of your favourites. Bring your smart phones, cameras, etc. If you don’t have one, we’ll take the photo for you.

Fans on-track can also enter a draw for some great prizes to Western Fair District’s Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club, tickets to the Beer & Barbecue Show and betting vouchers.

In advance of the actual event, you can take part in a Facebook contest and an online handicapping contest. Fans can vote for the driver they think will win the Ontario Regional Driving Championship on Western Fair’s Facebook page or on SC's web poll.

The I Love Canadian Harness Racing will be offering an online Pick 8 Handicapping Challenge on the Ontario Regional and it will open on Thursday. We’ll have three astute handicappers give you their thoughts on how each driver will do.
