Gagnon Wins Five At Rideau

Driver Guy Gagnon dominated Sunday evening's program at Rideau Carleton Raceway winning one-third of the 15-races - three of which were for trainer Sebastien Giroux

Gagnon kicked off his five-win performance in the fifth race aboard Dr Thrill ($2.50) for Giroux before dominating the final portion of the program. The duo also clicked in the 10th race with Sunset Art ($4). Gagnon won the next race with his own pupil Libertys Best ($4.70) before guiding another Giroux trainee, Delta Dental ($3.40), to victory. He capped off the program with a victory aboard Hez Bo Diddy ($4) for trainer Richard Moreau.

Giroux also sent out the second race winner Uncle Goodfellow ($8.90) with Gord Brown handling the driving duties while Gagnon sat behind his own trainee.

Rideau's leading trainer Jamie Copley and driver Stephane Gendron also enjoyed a productive night teaming up to add three more wins to their totals.
